Visit the Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge from here. It's close and a really great experience. You'll be as close to a wilderness area as you can get in a car. Interesting shore and meadow birds, and large mammals are common. If you've had a good experience in Yellowstone, but want to get away from people, this is the tour for you. It's about 24 miles to the visitor center from our RV Park.
