Yellowstone Southern Loop
| Visit Yellowstone's Southern Geyser Basins by taking this Southern Loop. Although you could take days to see everything, one fairly long day will suffice. You'll see animals, geysers, thermal springs, rivers, lakes, forest, birds and more. Leave as early as you can to see as much as possible. Turn right at the Madison Junction and loop around to the west shore of Yellowstone Lake, and follow the Yellowstone River and return through the Madison River valley.
