We are in a wide, beautiful lake-filled mountain valley with a National Wildlife Refuge on the west of us,
and Yellowstone Park on the east!

Birdwatchers, wildlife photographers, and nature lovers, stay here for an experience you'll never forget! Seems
like every week we spot one of our forest friends around the
campground. The bull moose is sometimes nearby, keeping a watchful eye while his cow and calf appear
to munch on the tender wildflowers that cover the ground. Although the bears keep to themselves, we know they are nearby and you might see one if you are observant. Oh, and keep your eye
to the sky, where you'll often see a red-tailed hawk, a sandhill crane or a bald eagle. The butterflies flitter about in the beautiful wildflowers and ground squirrels are constantly popping their heads in and out of their holes. Visit nearby Yellowstone National Park or Red Rock Lakes Wildlife refuge for even more variety of animals, birds and insects.Enjoy these photos of the fauna surrounding us!
