Madison River 1

The Madison River officially begins in Yellowstone National Park at the confluence of the Gibbon and Firehole River (near Madison Junction). It joins the Missouri River at the confluence of the Gallatin and Jefferson Rivers near Trident, Montana.

It affords great fly fishing along its banks.
