Directions to Virginia City, Montana: (74 miles)

Turn West (right) out of RV Park. Turn right towards Henry's Lake at the intersection in 2.8 miles. Follow this good dirt road about 6 miles until you reach highway 87. Turn Northwest (left) and proceed until you reach highway 287, about 12.5 miles. Turn West (left) and proceed about 40 miles along the Madison River Valley to Ennis. On Main street, go straight (West, not North) on 287 to Virginia City. Its about 14 miles West from Ennis. Nevada City is one mile west.
