Upgrades at our Park

Although we've owned our park for 15 years, we still retain pride of ownership. We strive to maintain and improve our park every year so that you'll want to keep coming back. Here's a list of some things we did in 2005, 2006 and 2007 to make the park a better place for your stay:

  • leveled many pads and maintained/repaired park roads
  • added brick retaining walls to some pads (for leveling and support)
  • created a lighted dog walk around the park and added 'pickup' bag dispenser
  • installed a horseshoe pitching pit
  • added state flags for color in front of park
  • added 'overflow' pads with water/electrical
  • converted some tent spots to water/electric spots for our smaller camping vehicles
  • added 5 planting tubs with perennials in front of store
  • widened our entrance by 2X to make it easier to enter/depart
  • sealed and patched our asphalt driveway to make it last longer
  • installed new heavy duty attractive log fence around part of park (and stained it)
  • converted 8 additional pads to 50 Amps from 30 Amps
  • doubled our power supply for washer/dryer/store and front Pads to 400AMPS
  • added additional sewer ports per pad to allow for both motorhomes & 5th wheels
  • added a generator to run our water pump in case our power fails (rarely does)
  • painted and sealed our deck (this is done every year)
  • painted the bathrooms
  • replaced wooden picnic tables with sturdy hard rubber tables
  • acquired 6 additional acres for future expansion
  • added Wi-Fi for free internet access
  • added extensively to our Web page for visitor services/directory and interactive trail maps and descriptions plus hundreds of photos in our gallery.
